Good Afternoon,
Here is the latest on Gaza
There are hopes the current truce between Israel and Hamas could be extended - talks are being held in Qatar
Israel says it's received a list of hostages held in Gaza who could be released later on Wednesday
On Tuesday, 12 more hostages were released by Hamas and Israel freed 30 more Palestinian prisoners
The stories of those held in Gaza are continuing to emerge - the son of a 75-year-old woman, Ada Sagi, has been speaking about being reunited with her
Meanwhile, Palestinian prisoners have alleged mistreatment while in Israeli jails. A 14-year-old boy said he witnessed beatings; Israel has not commented
Hamas crossed the border and killed 1,200 people in Israel on 7 October, with about 240 taken hostage
Since then, Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry says more than 14,800 people have been killed in Israel's retaliatory campaign, including about 6,000 children
One of our journalists, Shane Green has also written on tcsnetwork.co.uk about the current break in fighting and what might happen after. I would encourage you to read.

Will the Ceasefire in Israel-Gaza last?: What We Know So Far
52 days since Hamas’s devastating October 7 attack on Israel, which killed around 1,200 people, the hostage deal between the two sides had brought the first temporary pause in the conflict, and allowed the safe exchange of 50 hostages held by Hamas in return for 150 Palestinians being held by Israel.
Far-Right win big in Dutch General Election
On Thursday 23rd November, the Netherlands woke up to far-right populist candidate, Geert Wilders and his PVV party taking what many have called a shock victory. Beating all predictions, Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) has won 37 out of 150 seats after the Dutch went to the ballot box on Wednesday.
Do Politicians deserve a second chance?
PM Rishi Sunak’s cabinet reshuffle has raised some eyebrows, not least for the sacking of controversial home secretary Suella Braverman amid recent comments and the appointment of former Prime Minister David Cameron. While this is headline-grabbing, what does this say about the trend of second chances in politics?
Thank you as ever for your continued support!
