There has been a lot happening in British politics, a lot happening globally, and a lot happening within our own community here at The Common Sense Network. I wanted to take a moment to catch you up on the stories shaping the week and share a few things happening on our end that you won’t want to miss.
There is growing evidence of serious internal strife within Labour. Reports from earlier this week highlight that Wes Streeting has accused figures in No 10 of briefing against him, referring to them as “traitors” in what many commentators are now calling a party civil war.
Meanwhile, Keir Starmer has denied authorising these attacks, but the episode exposes deeper tensions around leadership stability, policy direction, and internal communications.
This is more than a factional skirmish. The question now is whether Labour’s internal conflict will undermine its coherence ahead of what many expect to be a turbulent political cycle.
