Arrests after Greenpeace protest at Rishi Sunak's North Yorkshire home // Five people have been arrested after activists climbed on the roof of the prime minister's home to protest at 100 new North Sea oil and gas licences. Campaigners had unfurled "oil-black fabric" on the house in a North Yorkshire village, Greenpeace said. Two men and two women were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and public nuisance after they returned to ground level at about 13:00 BST.
Theresa May's ex-adviser to stand in Matt Hancock's seat in next election // Theresa May's former chief of staff has been selected by the Conservative Party to fight for Matt Hancock's seat at the next general election. Nick Timothy has been confirmed as the party's candidate for West Suffolk. Mr Hancock currently serves as an independent MP, having been suspended by the Tories in November after joining I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Mr Timothy resigned as Mrs May's joint chief of staff after the Tories lost their majority in the 2017 election.
Donald Trump arrives in DC court to face criminal charges // Former US President Donald Trump has arrived at a Washington DC courthouse for his third appearance as a criminal defendant in four months. Mr Trump will be fingerprinted and then appear in court on charges of conspiring to obstruct and overturn the 2020 election result. The former president, 77, is expected to indicate a non-guilty plea.
Leah Remini: The King of Queens star sues Church of Scientology // Leah Remini is taking legal action against the Church of Scientology and its leader, David Miscavige, for harassment and defamation. The actress, who starred in the sitcom The King of Queens, joined the Church in 1979 as a child and left in 2013. Remini, 53, claims Scientology's "mob-style operations and attacks" have "significantly" impacted her life and career.
Australian museum to return stolen Cambodian artefacts // Australia's national gallery will return three 9th and 10th Century bronze sculptures to Cambodia, after they were found to be stolen. It follows a decade-long investigation carried out by the two countries to determine the origin of the works. Cambodia's government welcomed the historic move as "an important step towards rectifying past injustices". It comes amid a global push to return looted cultural goods.
Lizzo accused of sexual harassment and fat-shaming Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez // Pop star Lizzo is being sued by three of her former dancers over claims including sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. The legal action includes accusations of sexual, religious and racial harassment, discrimination, assault and false imprisonment. The singer is also accused of fat-shaming and pressuring a dancer to touch a performer's breasts.

Aaron Ramsdale: Arsenal and England goalkeeper pledges to call out homophobia in football // Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale says he will no longer stay quiet when he encounters homophobic comments in dressing rooms and on social media. The 25-year-old said he wants football to be "welcoming for everyone" so his brother, who is gay, can attend matches without fear of abuse. Belgian Grand Prix: Max Verstappen extends title lead with eighth straight victory // Max Verstappen was in imperious form as he came from sixth on the grid to win the Belgian Grand Prix. Bud Light boycott over trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney hits beer giant's sales // The owner of Bud Light took a hit to its sales after a US boycott of the brand sparked by its work with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Brewing giant AB Inbev said sales in the US fell more than 10% this spring, as demand for Bud Light lager plunged. The brand faced a wave of attacks after it sent a personalised can of beer to Ms Mulvaney for an online post. However, Belgium-based AB Inbev said performance overall was better than many analysts had expected. Outside of the US, Budweiser sales jumped nearly 17% compared with last year.
Etsy accused of 'destroying' sellers by withholding money // Online marketplace Etsy has come under fire from sellers for putting 75% of their takings on hold for 45 days. Hundreds of small businesses recently got an email from Etsy notifying them it was actioning its "reserve system". Ceramics seller Rachel Collyer said Etsy was holding £899 of her money, which means she cannot afford to buy materials to keep producing. Etsy said payment reserves were used to "keep the marketplace safe" and cover any potential refunds.
Royal Mail: Final day for people to use non-barcoded stamps // Time is running out for people to use any standard non-barcoded stamps as Monday is the last day they can be used to post items. After Monday, customers sending mail with these stamps risk the recipient being given a surcharge of £1.10. However, commemorative and non-barcoded Christmas stamps will still be valid. People can swap their old stamps for barcoded stamps through Royal Mail's Swap Out scheme, where there is no deadline for exchange.
