We made it to the final week of Black History Month, and what a month it has been.
If you missed our evening with Kelechi Okafor, Adwoa and Solomon of Adeche Atelier, or you were there and want to relive it, I have good news. The full conversation is now live on YouTube, so you can watch every moment. I’d love for as many of you as possible to see it.
Closer to home, the studio has been busy. The team kept our Friday cowork sessions buzzing, as always, and this week we’re opening the doors for something I’ve been looking forward to for a while: a night with everyone featured in this year’s edition of The Detail, with Papz as our guest editor. Creators, this one’s for you.
A month that started with a full room is ending with more of the same.
Have an amazing week.

One thing. What launched, what's coming, what changed.
A couple of weeks ago, over 40 of you joined us at the Common Sense Studios for an evening on African spirituality and mythology with Kelechi Okafor and Adwoa and Solomon of Adeche Atelier. If you were in the room, you know how special it was. If you weren’t, you can now watch the whole thing.
The full recording is up on our YouTube channel. It covers the stories, beliefs and traditions that shaped our ancestors, why so many of us grew up disconnected from them, and what it looks like to reclaim them today.
If it resonates, give it a like, leave a comment and share it with someone who needs to hear it. It helps more people find these conversations.
Thank you again to Kelechi, Adwoa and Solomon, and to everyone who came. More evenings like this are on the way, so keep an eye on out.
A spotlight on one person from the network each week.
This week we had Chintu, our Hyphen House Coordination Lead, hosting our weekly Friday cowork session, and it’s always a great day when Chintu’s in the room.
Every Friday, the Hyphen community takes over the studio to work, connect and get things done together. If you’d like to join us, apply using the link below.
What's happening this week
This week, we’re hosting everyone featured in this year’s edition of The Detail, with Papz as our guest editor. It’s an intimate night at the Common Sense Studios, and we’re opening the doors to a small number of you to join us, experience the evening and connect with the people shaping the creator space right now.
If you’re a content creator, or an aspiring one, and you’re free to join us, RSVP below. Spaces are limited.
Opportunities and one specific ask, in that order.
With a new Substack and exciting new shows in the pipeline, we are still on the hunt for new writers and presenters to contribute to the network and help us continue our mission.
We are also on the lookout for new studio assistants. If you or anybody in your network are looking for flexible part-time work and want experience working within a media company and a content production studio, this is the opportunity for you!
Please email okiki@tcsnetwork.co.uk if you’re interested! Keep your notifications on and your eyes peeled for more updates across the network.
Have an amazing end to the week,
Okiki Adegoke
