Good Afternoon Sense-ibles,
By now we all know about the mainstream media. It really is broken. Over the past few weeks, we have seen a mixture of stories all highlighting how the poorest in society may struggle to build back after lockdown.
The poorest people in society are about to lose £20 a week in universal credits.
Inflation is the highest its been in almost a decade so ordinary goods are going to be more expensive
National Insurance contributions are going up which again means less disposable income for ordinary people.
This is in many ways a perfect storm that will greatly affect the lives of people most affected by lockdown. The mainstream media should be highlighting this, however, yesterday the focus seems to be on Boris Johnson’s new cabinet. I appeared to GB News yesterday to remind them about where our attention should be placed during this time.
