I’ve been away on an extended break however I wanted to take some time to point out our recent exposure at The United Nations. I was recently invited to speak at the Global Peace Summit in New York on the role international diplomacy can play the seeing peace in the Middle East.

I met a very partisan audience, however, after I finished speaking, it was great to be met by a few young people who appreciate the common sense perspective. My main offering to the discussion was that we needed to create more space for interfaith and diverse discourse. I said that we had to elevate our level of analysis so that we could elevate the kind of solutions we offer to the conflict. We need to reject binary framing and get into the weeds of what long term peace in the region looks like.
